said it has received approval from Chinese regulators to resume user registrations for its ride-hailing service, in one other sign that Beijing is easing its crackdown on the technology sector.
The move puts an end to one of the vital high-profile penalties inflicted on a Chinese technology company by the country’s government. In July 2021, shortly after Didi’s initial public offering on the Recent York Stock Exchange, Chinese regulators launched an investigation into the corporate which forced mobile app stores within the country to remove Didi’s services.
